There is a Reason Pessimists Often Stay Pessimistic

There are three main reality types in our world. One is the "optimist" who is constantly seeing the world with the "glass half full". Another is the "realist" who looks at each situation and calculates what is positive and what is deemed negative with each one. Often the "realist" calculates the risk of all experiences. Finally there is the pessimist who often views the world as the "glass half empty."

What is the reason these reality types stay within their conviction of seeing the world the way they do? The reason, our mind likes to say "I Told You So!". It does so by seeking out validation in our daily life which reinforces it's belief. Our mind rejects that which is foreign to its thought process by way of ignoring it. This process happens by default and unless aware of it, is difficult to change.

As an example, when we buy a new car. The moment we drive the car off the lot we have introduced it in our reality. At this point, as we drive, we notice many other people driving the same car! It becomes very noticeable and apparent in our daily life. The cars themselves have always been there, it is only now, when we have taken notice. Before this point our mind ignored the stimuli of the car because it was unimportant and outside of our reality. The moment it was introduced, our brain looked for validation by seeking out other cars which were the same.

Another example could be when a woman becomes pregnant or wishes desperately to have a baby. As they go about their day, they notice many other women who are pregnant or have new born babies. They are bombarded with this stimulus keeping their mindset strong of being pregnant or wanting to be.

Next is a short story titled "Red Light / Green Light" which is an excerpt taken from my book "I Believe Therefore I Am".

Two individuals are at point “A” and both must get to point “B” within half an hour. Both individuals are driving down the road and take the exact same route. Both individuals come to five different intersections before reaching their destination. Upon arrival at their destination one says, “I am here” while the other person exclaims, “Well, that was timed perfectly. Green lights the entire way!”

The difference between an optimistic reality and a pessimistic reality is the optimistic person noticed the five green lights! Both left at the same time, both took the same route, and both came to the intersections. Both received the same opportunities. It is the optimistic person who noticed!

This is a perfect example of the way our mind focuses on what it recognizes as truth. The pessimistic person feels or believes that life is meant to be difficult or perhaps is anticipating a bad day. When the pessimist is focused on difficult times, they fail to notice the advantages available to them. The optimistic person, on the other hand, is open to possibilities and is therefore more likely to notice small blessings that surround him or her on a daily basis. In this instance, the small blessings were the five green lights.

This interesting phenomenon happens every day and therefore each individual is performing this action by default. A person can only change their reality when they become aware of what they are focused on. What they are focused on is a mirror image to what they believe. It is also for this reason an optimistic person has a difficult time understanding or being around a pessimistic personality.

To break free of the pessimistic outlook begin to notice what your mind is focused on in your daily life. When you notice something which you believe to be negative, treat it as radar telling you your belief is out of alignment to what you truly desire! When you notice, consciously switch your focus by reminding yourself of what it is you are actively creating. Which is a life of opportunity and personal fulfillment?!

I shall leave this with you now and ask one question "Are you ready to believe?"

1 Thing to Turn Disabled into Able!

Having a disability has its challenges.   I know this because I too live with a disability called Fibre Type Disproportion Myopathy.  Waking up every day with a reminder of the condition we find ourselves in can be at the very least frustrating to an all out emotional and physical upheaval.

All people are unique and are experiencing their own life.  We have our strengths and capabilities which can extend farther than we ever expected.  Each one of us has knowledge, desires, passion and ambition to master our ability to succeed.  One person can be excellent at one thing while another is amazing at something else.  A person living with a disability is the same!

If you are someone living with a disability, know this, you are a strong capable person who can do many wondrous things!  It all comes down to choice.  You can chose to let your limitations get the best of you and continually feel awful about the situation you find yourself in, or, you can choose to do something about it.

When you wake up each day, rather than focus on what you are unable to do, focus on what you can do!  Ask yourself a very important question, “What’s one thing I can do for me today?”  When you know the answer, do it!  Small or large, with grand purpose or simple pleasures, they are all equally important and help to change the mindset of defeat to personal strength and power.

A person reading this article might say, what about those who are quadriplegic?  The answer, they have a voice too!  Ask them questions about who they are and what they enjoy in life.  Empower them to focus on what does bring them joy.  Do this by building a relationship with them.  Ask them to look up for “yes” and down for “no”.  Asking key questions about their personality and what brings them joy can help their mind to visualize and focus on the finer things in life.  If they answer a question such as “do you like balloons?” and they respond with “yes”, bring them balloons!  It makes everyone feel good and at the same time the individual with the disability feels heard!

Always remember, everyone has the ability to do something.  What is yours?  Focus on that and make it happen!  You are amazing and can do it!

Keep smiling that gorgeous smile of yours!

Fear or Bravery - Which Do You Choose?

“A person who lives in fear of failure and prevents their self from moving forward, creates that which s/he most fears.” ~ Claire McGee

With every choice we make, we take action to satisfy the decision.  If we choose to allow fear overcome our desire to reach our goal, we remain stuck in the tormented mind of fear.  Rather than taking one step forward we remain hidden within four cement walls, which I call the “prison cell of life.”  Rather than see creation and all its glory we imprison ourselves within the convents of our mind never to know the truth of what might have been.  Fear destroys dreams and when given power, causes the strongest of minds to fall.  It is through this, we create that which we fear most.  By never taking the next step, by never really knowing what would be, we create the very thing we fear, lack of fulfillment and in our tortured mind, failure.

To overcome fear is to look it square in the eyes and rebel by doing it anyway.  We can do this by focusing on what amazing things can come of doing it.  The end result of a life of fulfillment, joy, appreciation, love, respect, and a complete self satisfaction of knowing rather than wondering, is what drives us to move forward.  Having this mindset allows us to see all experiences as knowledge and all knowledge is the grand success of learning.  To master anything in life, one must learn from failed results.  This allows one to educate themselves and others on what is to be done in order to make it work.  Some may see this as failure, others, like myself, see it as evolution and progress.

With that said, ask one question today, do you choose to let fear overcome you or do you choose bravery to see it through?  Success is from recognizing the choices and wisdom is from knowing the result.

Have a great day and remember to keep smiling that gorgeous smile of yours!

What We Do Today, Shapes Our Future Experiences

“I can feel guilty about the past, apprehensive about the future, only in the present can I act.  The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness.” ~ Abraham Maslow

It is truly fascinating when it’s noticed there are two types of mindsets.  Those who live in the past and reflect on all which has been, good or bad, and those who live in the future hoping for or anticipating good things to come which are better than today.  I use to live in the past, often feeling sorry for myself or guilty for decisions I had made.  When I released the burden from my shoulders, I changed my focus.  If I were to be completely honest, I’d say I tend to be one who now lives in the future.  I am always seeing my life in one year’s time, five year’s time and beyond.  I am an optimistic go-getter it seems.

It is important to have a vision of a goal.  When you can see the end result as if it were a memory, you can make it happen.  At the same time, I have come to realise, everything I think, say and do today, shapes my forward motion.  The actions I perform today mirrors what my future is.  It is for this reason, I have decided now is the time to be living.  Each moment of each day shapes our experiences.  There really is only today.  At this moment right now, we are creating our memories of our past when we look back with fondness ten years from now.  With every experience  we have right now, we are creating our future.   It’s kind of like the idiom “take care of the pennies and the dollars take care of themselves.”  When we take care of today, tomorrow takes care of itself.

Today I choose to live my life in the now, knowing I am creating wonderful memories and experience yet to come.

Food for thought.  Today as you go about your day, be consciously aware of your thoughts and actions.  Know that what you are thinking, saying and doing, creates your future experiences and the wonderful memories you can recall when you are telling your grandchildren, family or friends all your amazing adventures and achievements. When We Tell Our Brain to Forget - It Does!

Many people believe the reason their memory is poor is due to getting older. Age has little to do with the reason these wonderful people forget. The reason people are becoming forgetful is because that is exactly what they are training their brain to do.

There is a common expression in many different languages around the world which is "Don't Forget". We use this often when we are doing our best to remind ourselves of important tasks and when we are being helpful to others. "Don't forget to pick up the milk." "Don't forget to call the doctor." "Don't forget to get this done." Unfortunately, this creates the exact opposite effect and does cause our mind become even more forgetful.

Our brain has an inherent ability to naturally filter information allowing us to focus on a task. For example, when we are at work and are sitting at our computer focused on a particular task, there are many things happening around us.   Such stimuli could be, colleagues chatting, the phone ringing, or, perhaps the cars driving past on the street. Because our mind is so focused on the task at hand, we barely hear or pay attention to other things going on around us. If our brain was to absorb every piece of stimuli happening at every moment of every day, we would have a very difficult time functioning. It is for this reason; our brain has been trained to filter what is not important allowing us to complete what is.

When we tell our brain "don't forget" our brain interprets this information as unimportant. When this happens, our brain filters the information, discards it and allows us to forget. Knowing this, it is important to begin training your brain to remember. Do this by changing the words "Don't forget" to "Remember to". "Remember to pick up the milk." "Remember to call the doctor." Saying and thinking "remember" tells our mind the information is important and therefore stores the data for later use.

There is a trick I like to do when I am networking or teaching a class. Many people are amazed by my ability to remember names easily. For most, remembering a face is far easier than remembering a name. As of today, this can be changed. When you meet someone for the first time and you wish to remember their name do this; as you are having a conversation with them, think in your mind, "remember (name here)". From the time you are first introduced to this person, to the point where you walk away, think the words "remember (name here)" three separate times. Make certain to wait a few moments between each thought so as to help solidify the memory. I can say with 99% conviction, you are more likely to remember the person's name! This same technique works for dates and numbers. If there is an important date or phone number you wish to remember and you are unable to write the information down, think "remember (date/number)" three times in your mind and voila you remember. If you choose to train your brain to remember, your mind would be sharp and recall instances with such clarity, others who trained their brain to forget, would be absolutely amazed.

Take a Moment to Breath

“Now is all we have.  Everything that has ever happened to you, and anything that is ever going to happen to you, is just a thought.” ~ Wayne Dyer

The reality is, life can be very stressful.  As much as each of us individually work to control our stress levels, outside influence play a role to which we may have little control.  The statement, our thoughts dictate our reality and from that our future is born, is in fact very true.  Many are aware of this and think that it is important to constantly think ahead and design what’s to come.  From this, they take very little time to enjoy what is round them in the moment and continue to experience the stress. The reason for this is,  s/he may think “When I do this I can look forward to...” or “Just deal with this a little longer and then I can do...”.  What happens here is, the stressful situation they are in is accentuated for the individual because s/he is focused on “dealing with it to move past it.”  It is important to forge ahead, and it is important to remind ourselves what we are achieving.  At the same time, it is important to have balance and joy by taking the time to live in the now.

To live in the now is to silently clear the mind, relax and enjoy the beauty around us.  In this moment we see the glories of nature, the uniqueness of everyone around us, and we feel the escape from all that is stressful into all that is beautiful.  With that said, take the time to sit or go for a walk and silently clear your mind and be an observer to all the amazing creations which are around you.  Feel the peace within you and remind yourself, you are a unique creation which is very much a part of the grand design.  Take a deep breath, smile and know all is as it is suppose to be.

Allowing this time to live in the now, gives us a sense of faith and courage to forge ahead knowing all is as it is meant and works out in our favour.

Keep smiling that gorgeous smile of yours!

"Life" - A Poem From The Heart

“I think, what has this day brought me, and what have I given it?” – Henry Moore

Life

Last night I had a dream
That I flew real high.
I flew up to the sky,
And saw far and wide.

I dared to dream some more
As I continued to fly far
I noticed when I stopped
I was sitting amongst the stars.

When I looked below
I noticed an intriguing thing.
My life unfold in front of me
This is an amazing dream.

I shared wonderful laughter
I felt sadness and pain.
I loved with all my heart
And felt others love me the same.

I have learned so much
In the years that I live
That each and every person I meet
Have so much to give.

My life is filled with memories
My life is a gift to share
For all the people in my life
I truly love you and I care

I am blessed to have been through so much
To experience the life I lead
For I have learned something valuable
For all I gave... I did receive.

What I do each day of my life
An all the lives I touch
Is what this life is all about
You can never give too much.

As I grow old and look back on my life
I can say I am truly blessed
For I lived, I laughed, I learned and cried
And I gave it all my best.

As I sit here as one amongst the stars
I realize an important thing
That the purpose of living is to share and dream
And live as one with each living thing.

Open your hearts to all you can
Live life as it is meant for you
Laugh, cry, forgive, feel joy
And love all for it sees you through.

Words Are Symbols...Our Emotion are What Bring These Symbols to Life

Whenever we go to motivational speakers or read books on the subject of the “Law of Attraction” we hear that were are to avoid concentrating on “how” something is to manifest into our lives.  If we simply focus on what we want, the universal laws and principles work their magic and manifest our desires.

There is a reason, a very important reason for avoiding concentrating on “how” we are to receive something.  This post is about to divulge a very important secret to you. Today I am explaining this word "How" and the fact of the matter is, it can cause devastating results and negate all our efforts.

Many people believe words by themselves hold little meaning or credence which is the reason experts say words only hold 7% of the impact to an end result.  Today I am here to tell you, words are very powerful and can cause devastating results.  Words trigger emotional responses within us and from there, discharge in the form of energy, out into our surroundings, impacting all who come in contact with it. These words may be expressed verbally to others or through personal self talk. Either way, we are impacting ourselves and our environment because these words cause us to focus on the exact opposite of what we want.  The “law of attraction” then answers our call by giving us what we focused on, which is more negative circumstances based on the emotions these words trigger.  When we think or say certain words, we have the power (by no fault of our own until we become aware of it) to negate all efforts toward moving forward in achieving our goals.  By becoming aware of the power behind words, we gain the ability to empower ourselves and others to move ahead with confidence and lightening speed!  It is for this reason I am sharing this little secret with you.

Next is an excerpt taken from my new book "I Believe Therefore I am", published by Kallisti Publishing and available April 2011.  Read ahead and discover what you can do to change this habit while positively influencing yourself and others.  This post is rather lengthy and well worth the read!

HOW”

The word “HOW” invokes confusion, doubt, indecision and stagnation. This little word is one of the most powerful for self destruction as it lends credence for the expression “I can't see the forest for the trees”.

Using the word “HOW” when speaking with others

When we ask someone “how do you plan to do that?” we may receive a couple of options which the other person thought of and may begin a conversation to find solutions. It sounds proactive and we are interested in what the other person is doing. Often we are unaware, when the other person has left the room, in their mind, they are second guessing their ideas or potentially thinking of new ones. The new thought process tends to cause a longer turnaround time for taking action toward obtaining a goal. The reason for this is, we plant a seed in their mind which causes them to ask themselves the same question “how am I going to do that?”. With this word invoking the potential for doubt, confusion, indecision and stagnation, it can lead to lack of direction or action taken to achieve a goal by the individual.

Using the word “HOW” through self talk

When we ask ourselves “how am I going to do that?”, “how is that possible” or “I don't see how” we invoke worry, anxiety, confusion, doubt, indecision, and stagnation within ourselves. The reason for this is, when we use this word it causes us to look within for answers which are obviously elsewhere or the question wouldn't be asked in the first place. Irritability and an increase in stress levels follow when these self destructive emotions are triggered. It is for this reason people often take a copious amount of time or avoid taking action all together toward a goal they wish to obtain.

WHAT”

Changing the word “HOW” to “WHAT” is very proactive and action orientated because it causes one to look outside themselves for solutions.

Using the word “WHAT” when speaking with others

When someone states they wish to do something, the best question that can be asked of them is “what are some solutions or opportunities which exist for you to accomplish this?” Doing so invokes ease and problem solving within the person seeking advice. This helps the person hearing the statement look outside themselves for options which may exist. It further invokes brainstorming, problem solving and team building within the group conversation. The same rule applies at the office where a potential problem exists. In this instance one may say “what actions were taken in the past which were most effective and what are some options we can investigate now to find a solution?” Again, this invokes problem solving, brainstorming and team building within the group for the purpose of looking outward to find solutions.

Using the word “WHAT” through self talk

When we have a goal we wish to obtain and are looking for opportunities to present themselves, asking questions such as, “What are some options which exist out there?”; “What can I do to make this happen?”; or “What are some ways to find solutions?”, is a proactive approach for finding answers to the question they have asked. The reason for this is, it again causes someone to look outside of themselves for solutions. A person recognizes they are seeking answers and has confidence they exist. They then investigate, communicate and take action toward their ability to achieve.

Words hold a great deal of power when it comes to our ability to achieve our goals. Words are also very important when attempting to positively influence others. Words either gear us toward success and well being or stagnation and self destruction. Remember going forward while you are mastering your ability to empower your life with the law of attraction, avoid the word HOW which use to negate your efforts and replace it with the word “WHAT”.  Doing this small thing can and does give positive results!

Our Results Are The Summation Of What Our Brain Focuses On

“What our brain focuses on, creates the outcome.  When we focus on negative, we receive negative.  When we focus on productive we witness successful results!” ~ Claire McGee

Our world is made up of words which have been ingrained in our human nature which date back many centuries.  These words were comprised from educated individuals which showed their learned experiences and justified their intelligence above others during the same time frame.  Due to this, instruction/direction in business and at home, often offer less than satisfying results.  Reason being, we are accustom to speaking in the negative which results in mistakes, misunderstandings, communication breakdown and continued delays.

Remember, our beliefs (which are at the subconscious level) triggers emotional and natural reactions.  These reactions cause us to make conscious decisions.  These decisions prompt our body to take action.  Our actions cause us to experience a result.  These results reinforce our strong belief and expectations of an outcome.  Therefore whatever we tell our brain to focus on, we create a mirrored result!

As an example, if I were to say to you “Don’t think of your family” or “Don’t think of a banana” your brain starts to focus on exactly that.  Whatever you tell your brain, be it “don’t” or “do”, you cause yourself or someone else to focus it.  When we focus on it, we take action to satisfy a decision causing a result!  It is for this reason, whenever we are giving directives at work or at home, it is best to always speak in the affirmative!  After all, it is the affirmative results we are looking for!

Here are a few examples.

Always give direction in the affirmative to get positive results.  Avoid the word "don't" for this gives negative results.

A small child is venturing very close to a fireplace which is dancing with flames keeping your house warm.  This child is extremely curious and wants to touch the flame because it is beautiful and it glows.  As a concerned adult the first thing we think of is, "Don't touch the fireplace" which is a negative directive.   We have told this child to focus on touching the fireplace and is now even more focused on doing so!  It gets to the point where we have to push his hand away or move him somewhere else and say “I told you no”.  Sound familiar?  Rather than say “Don’t touch the fireplace” say what it is you actually want him to do which is, "Stay away from the fireplace, it's hot.”  When we say it in this fashion this little one’s brain focuses on moving away which results in his body satisfying the need.

Directives are extremely important when it comes to safety.  Below are a few more made up examples for work health and safety.

"Don't wear long jewellery or clothing because it can get caught in the machine." Negative Directive.

"Wear fitting clothing to work when operating this machine." Affirmative Directive.

"Don't turn the machine on when there are employees standing near." Negative Directive

"Make certain the area is clear of employees before turning the machine on."  Affirmative Directive

"Don't forget to turn the machine off before leaving the building." Negative Directive.

"Remember to turn the machine off before leaving the building."  Affirmative Directive

"Do not leave this machine unattended at any time." Negative Directive.

"Make certain someone is attending this machine at all time." Affirmative Directive.

Do you remember a time where you said something to someone only for them to do the exact opposite of what you thought you asked?  Did the conversation go a little like this “I told you not to!” / “Why did you do that I said don’t!”  If you are able to recall instances like this the above may be the reason for it.  As you go forward remember phrase your directives in such a way so as to receive the results you actually want.  Tell someone what you want them to do for this is the results you can expect!

Keep smiling!

Claire McGee

A House Which Is Divided Can Never Stand ~ Abraham Lincoln

“A house which is divided can never stand.” – Abraham Lincoln

What Abraham Lincoln was referring to here is when individuals reside together (same team during war, same side during debate etc) and are in disagreement with one another, they shall fall apart, rather than win the fight.  In this instance, they turn on each other, decreasing their defences and they eventually weaken their ability to succeed.

I am taking this quote one step further by saying, this too can also be said for an individual. What l mean by this is, our super conscious (our soul) and our subconscious (our belief) can stand together or weaken their defences making the goal difficult to achieve.

Here is an analogy:

Our super conscious is Commander and Chief who knows all, our subconscious is the Captain who determines the result, and our conscious mind is the recruits who make decisions and take action.  Our soul speaks to our subconscious constantly. These demands are held by the subconscious, who interprets them and based on its belief, translates the message to our conscious mind.  These demands are sent to the conscious mind through feelings.

When the super conscious mind and the subconscious mind are out of alignment, fear, anxiety, frustration and lack tend to be most prominent.  These feelings tell the conscious brain to stand still rather than take action.  What the conscious brain is hearing is “Hold still for we are at war with ourselves!”  When this happens, little action is taken and a feeling of discontentment takes over.  We avoid rather than go after and we stand still rather than move forward.  As long as the super conscious and subconscious mind are in disagreement, the action the conscious brain takes becomes fruitless.  Therefore “a house which is divided can never stand.”

It is for this reason, we must train our brain by making the subconscious believe we are meant to have what we desire and we have the tools to achieve what we set out to do.  When the super conscious and subconscious are in alignment we experience joy, excitement, enthusiasm, and confidence.  These feelings tell our conscious brain to move forward and make it happen for we are winning!

To know if you are in our out of alignment is to check your feelings on a regular basis.  If you are experiencing anything which makes you uncomfortable, your soul and subconscious are fighting against one another.  When you are aware of this, make a decision.  Decide to either do nothing about it and stay where you are, or choose to change the belief in the outcome so you can take action and move forward.

When you are experiencing feelings of excitement, confidence, joy and fulfillment, you are in alignment with your desires and taking action to achieve or maintain them in your life!  When you notice these feelings, choose to move ahead and believe in yourself to achieve all you set out to do!

Keep smiling that gorgeous smile of yours!

Creating Your Life's Mission Statement.

Today’s message is about creating your life’s mission statement.

“He who reigns within himself and rules his passion, desires, and fears is more than king.” – John Milton

Inspiration can lift mountains, separate oceans and create the wind needed within our minds and bodies to soar toward our dreams and desires.  The most profound inspiration comes from within.  The soft voice inside which radiates love and kindness who wants to be heard.  This voice would like us to know what our true calling is.  This voice is asking us to listen to what we desire in life and ask for a commitment from us to achieve it.   Every now and then this voice becomes quiet, only to remind us at times with a nagging feeling, this beautiful spirit wishes to be heard.  Today is the day to listen to it, our soul, and build a relationship.  It is time to write our mission statement and to use it whenever we need reminding of who we are, what our soul truly desires and what we are committed to do when reaching for it!

Companies use mission statements to inspire their staff and clients.  It is a firm commitment;  a promise to work by and deliver the highest of potential.  We can consider ourselves like a company.  Our super-conscious (spirit or soul) is the company asking for this to be accomplished.  Our conscious mind and our bodies is the employees that make this promise a reality and our clients are comprised of the world around us.  Today, I am writing my mission statement which I am sharing with you.  When you have a moment, take out a pen and write yours for it is a crucial part in inspiring yourself and making your dreams come true!

Before we write this mission statement let’s look at one way it may have been written by a company:

“At ABC company we strive to ensure top quality service, products and support for our clients.”

In the above statement the mission statement reads “strive”   Words are very powerful and our subconscious mind takes what we tell it quite literally, which in turn, shapes our decision making and our actions.  In this instance the employees and company are always striving for the end result rather than achieving and maintaining it.  With that said, when writing the mission statement always use present tense (as if this is already accomplished and being maintained).  By writing in the present tense, our decisions and actions fall in line with creating and maintaining the desired results in our lives.

Here is my mission statement:

“Claire McGee continues to provide amazing seminars and classes for which she inspires people to realize their greatest potential and through this commitment, maintains a healthy mind, body and spirit while being a beautiful wife, loving mother, outstanding daughter and fiercely good friend to all she comes in contact with.”

This statement is my life’s commitment.  It speaks from my soul and is my true desire.  I am constantly achieving this and maintaining this in my life.  I believe in this life and the ability to have it!

Now is the time to write yours.  What is your mission statement?  What are you hearing from your soul and what are you going to do to commit to it?  You are an amazing person with many talents and passions.  You, like me, deserve the very best life has to offer and it is through your higher self realization that you have what it takes to achieve anything!  Stand tall, be proud and let your voice be heard!

Have a great day and keep smiling that gorgeous smile of yours!

Kindest of Regards,

Claire

Today's message is reflection on all that has been gained through an experience.

"There are many obstacles and hardships in life and there are even more people who overcome them."  ~ Helen Kellar

There are many times in a person's life where things seem to be dismal.  When we are in the law of gestation we are in a waiting game.  The patience which is demanded of us can be difficult for some and causes them to doubt the successful outcome.  It is also during this period we are living out what we previously manifested and if we were manifesting struggle and discord, we shall experience this as we created it to be so.  Having both these experiences at the same time can be tiring and cause one to lose hope.
It is normal and understandable!  There is a way to keep positive and keep moving forward toward your goals!  My Mum, whom I love dearly, suggested I write down all the pros and cons which have happened over the course of opening our business.  For you see, although I teach the program to believe in our dreams, I too have days of struggle.  This is because, prior to being aware of what power lies in the law of attraction, I was attracting and have experienced hardship.  The suggestion my Mum gave was to write a list and she said she guarantees the list of pros far out way the list of cons.  Here is my list...
My life experiences over the past 4 years:
  • Had the confidence and stubbornness to get well
  • I walked away from disability
  • I did what many feel are unable to do and that is follow my dream
  • I met amazing and wonderful people
  • Made a positive difference in many people's lives
  • Wrote and developed a course which teaches people what it takes to develop and use their intuition
  • I succeeded at teaching individuals that they are unique and have unique intuitive experiences.  This approach has not been done in the past with any book I have read
  • I successfully sold the rights to this course because it is so well received
  • I wrote and developed a program for Training the Brain for Success
  • Stood up in front of audiences to inspire them and help them to see the successes they already are
  • Taught classes for people to believe in their ability to achieve their goals
  • Learned what not to do when making sound financial business decisions
  • Helped many people heal through one on one sessions
  • Inspired people
  • Love people
  • Made dear friends
  • Learned how to believe in myself and others
  • Became an inspiration to my children
  • Became a positive role model for my children
  • Built a strong loving relationship with my Mum!
  • Successfully wrote a book, which is being published by Kallisti Publishing (http://www.kallistipublishing.com/)  to help inspire and teach others to achieve their goals!
What difficult things we went through to have all this?
  • Lost our home (expensive to maintain and renovate anyway.  A blessing really)
  • Lost my beautiful dog Sam (he now has a loving home and is taken care of)
  • Credit score is down the tubes (can build that back up.  I am still young!)
  • Cried many times (Have laughed and smiled even more!)
Is it all worth it?   YES!!! and am still believing and dreaming...I have what it takes and so do you!
I wrote all this to give an example for you.  Whenever you are down and wonder if it is all worth it, try this exercise.  See the value you have given and the value you have received.  By doing this, we gain an inner strength and a new perspective making it far easier to have patience during the law of gestation.   Try it and notice how extremely valuable you are and how extremely valuable life's experiences have for you!

Have a great day and keep smiling that gorgeous smile of yours!

Sincerely,

Claire McGee M.Msc
